Remember the Myst

We are a family of gamers. I started on the Commodore 64 and made my way through Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Super NES, Playstation 1, 2, 3, and Xbox. Eventually I landed on the PC gaming platform. My sons are console gamers through and through, having moved from Wii to Xbox to Xbox One. We all love first person shooter (FPS) and action/adventure games.

Just the other day, we were chatting about games as a family, and we struggled to remember a game we used to play on Playstation 1. Is was a first-person simulation video games. We finally remembered that it was called Myst.

Myst – an unlikely popular hit for Playstation, was addictive! The great gameplay kept us immersed for hours and hours at a time, and I remember we couldn’t wait to finish the game! Later, we found out that Myst actually had several different endings, depending on the route you took throughout the game.

After doing a bit of research, I discovered that you can still get a copy today from Cyan’s website.
